Putting Wisdom to Work
James1:5-8; Proverbs1:7

The blessings of God have always been available, most people won't avail themselves to God. Allow Him to lead you in the pathway of righteousness.

Life's testing times can be perplexing. Has anything perplexed you lately? Made you uneasy? Made you ask the question, "Lord, what's going on?" I don't know what will challenge us in 2020, but if you have wisdom, you can make it. As I talk about wisdom, know that I am talking about God. There is a remarkable absence for respect of God in America. Approximately 60% of the people in America don't have any respect for God. When we have respect for God, we are not seized with panic. We forgot to read the directions, the Bible. The country is in a state of panic, not knowing what is going to come out of Trump's mouth next. When you put wisdom to work, and fear God, you may dip into the unexpected valley, but, you can also soar to the pinnacle of prosperity and walk humbly before God. Just because you live in your fine homes and drive expensive cars, you can walk humbly and cope with both extremes.

God is wisdom and wisdom is God. The man that getteth understanding, happy is he. Your salary can't be compared to God. Wisdom is more precious. Look at chapter 3:17-22 but focus on verse 19. After God created the heavens and earth, the universe, God, in His wisdom, created man and woman. Wisdom is the principal thing in life. Our world has forsaken wisdom. Weather you're young or old, wisdom will work for you. We need wisdom to avoid pitfalls. Don't become gullible, thinking that what you see in commercials is for you. Just because that woman's hair is blowing in the wind, that doesn't mean yours will too. Don't be gullible. Just like you have to keep a filter clean in a car to keep it functioning properly, God has a spiritual filtering system for our lives. When you have a right relationship with God, everything will be alright. Solomon tested worldly wisdom and said, "I will be wise." He found nothing. James tells us Godly wisdom will keep you stable. God is the channel that brings wisdom to us. Godly wisdom will clear your mind. Try God! When you get in trouble and life gets down on you, try God. You ought to have a relationship with God. In His hands you can make it. God can make you happy.
